Táilliúir was established by Rachael, a Glasgow School of Art Fashion Design graduate from Belfast.

Rachael brings over nine years of industry experience in garment design and construction, with a diverse portfolio that includes working at the renowned luxury fashion house JW Anderson, specializing in bridal alterations at several bridal studios, and contributing to costume production and dressing at the Scottish Opera. Her work also spans television and film, including wardrobe roles on acclaimed series such as Outlander, as well as garment alterations and custom pieces for music videos and set productions for the BBC and ITV.

Amongst her achievements are recognition for design in the selection for LOEWE sponsored fashion promenade and experience in Hong Kong with the master tailor from Wong Kar-wai’s award winning In The Mood For Love.

  • The studio is located in a historic building without a lift, but we're fully committed to making our services accessible to all.

    For clients who may find it difficult to reach us, at-home fittings are offered within a 5-mile radius.

  • The studio is at 54 Washington Street, G3 8AZ. Further directions will be sent to you after booking to help you find it on arrival.

  • Please bring garments freshly cleaned for your fitting.

  • Yes! The studio is a cosy and intimate working space, so if you’d like to bring friends or family to your fitting, we kindly ask that you limit your guests to two additional people.

  • We ensure that all our fabric scraps are either donated, upcycled, or responsibly recycled to textile take-back programs.

    Our donations support local community sewing groups helping to reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable community.
